rmanley@millcitydartleague.comQUESTION POSED TO SEANSean;
Is the money listed, guaranteed and payouts will be adjusted up based on entries exceeding 20 teams? Also, is this to be some sort of modified round robin, since an actual round robin of all teams would be impossible in less than a couple of days?

Good questions.
No, unfortunately the MCDL is not able to guarantee payouts at this time.
The payout will be 100% payout of the entry fees that come in. We are just giving a potential breakdown based on a 20 team entry. If we come in less than 20 we may drop down the number of payouts or the $$ amount for each payout. We are hoping to end up with more than 20 teams however.
This will be a modified round robin based on the number of entries. Should we have 20 teams entered, we would have two flights of 10 teams with the top 4 in each going on to compete in a second round robin to determine who finishes where.
And we do have enough boards at the PAV to make sure that this tournament runs smoothly. It will be a long day of darts and will go into the evening, but we've run similar qualifiers using this format and everyone who has participated has had a lot of fun.
Hope to see you and your partner there. Also hoping to see many of the faces that frequent the Braintree tournaments to make the drive up to Lowell.
